Fernando Morey has served as a member of the board of directors of Vonpar S.A., the Coca-Cola bottler for the Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina states in Southern Brazil. He has also been general manager of Coca-Cola for Northern and Southern Brazil, and has further experience in general manager and sales & marketing positions in leading companies in the fast-moving consumer goods sector in Latin America (J&J, Philip Morris, Kraft Foods, Plumrose).
Fernando currently combines his professional activities in consulting with his role as financial & business advisor for a number of CPG companies in Latin America, actively steering their geographical expansion throughout the region. He also serves as a director for AIC Capital Inc., a private equity firm specialized in investments in mid-market food & beverage firms.
He has been a Wharton fellow since 2005 and has pursued advanced academic work, earning an advanced managementprogram degree (AMP) from IE Business School in Madrid.
He obtained his MBA from the Wharton School and has a degree in mechanical engineering.
Fernando holds double citizenship (Venezuela/Brazil) and spends his time between Caracas, São Paulo, and Lima. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Fernando is married and has three children and enjoys golf, squash, and jogging.
